Hebner’s question…

When did Earl Hebner taker over the main Hebner ref duties from Dave? When I’m watching shows from the late 80’s/early 90’s I like identifying the refs, but the Hebners still confuse me at times. Thanks.

​I think by late 89 they had mostly phased out Dave, and Earl was the main guy. That’s definitely when I started noticing that announcers would just call him Earl Hebner, and I was like "Isn’t someone gonna mention that he was a crooked ref?" ​
