When and why did WWF guys stop being allowed to do dates in Japan? Seemed like a longstanding thing and suddenly ended around 93 or so.

​Because they were in a war with WCW and WCW was strongly affiliated with New Japan, plus Baba did not get along with Vince, so that didn’t leave many alternatives for guys to go in Japan. ​
