If he’s a certified G, wouldn’t that indicate there’s some sort of regulatory body involved in certifying Gs? Presumably, that means there are requirements each G must meet and a board or governing body then verifies satisfactory fulfillment of those requirements. Perhaps a test must be passed before classification as a "certified G" is earned and obtained.

My point is, if he is in fact a "certified G," based on my understanding of what certification traditionally entails, then it would appear you actually can teach that.
