Rockers/Brainbusters Redux

Watching NXT Takeover, did you get a Rockers/Brainbusters vibe from the American Alpha/Revival match? It helps that Scott Dawson has an exceptionally strong Arn Anderson vibe, but that match’s spots reminded me so much of those two teams it’s ridiculous. A match like that reminds me how much I love tag team wrestling.

​It was a great match. I’ve said many times before, but Chad Gable is money and they’re a team that you just want to root for as babyfaces. That’s something severely now. Just check out the promo from Jordan, where he comes across like this guy who’s just so thankful to finally break through and win the big one:
