When Terry Gordy was having his big run in Japan in the early part of the 90’s prior to his health issues, did Vince ever make an offer to him to come in to the WWF?

I know he had the brief ill fated Freebirds run with WWF in late 84, but with his look and in ring work, it is ashame his only singles WWF opportunity was as The Executioner well after his health issues took a toll.

Did Vince ever show interest between 88 and 93?

​No, Gordy wouldn’t have wanted to give up his Japan dates anyway. Plus there was the famous incident on the joint WWE show in Japan where Hogan was booked to beat Gordy and then Gordy decided against doing the job to HULK HOGAN because it would make him look bad. That didn’t earn him any friends. Plus Stan Hansen was happy to do it anyway. ​
