Name/gimmick changes

There have been some good ones and there have been some down right HORRID ones.

In your opinion, what are some of the best and worst WWE name/gimmick change given to wrestlers who have jumped ship?

​They had a real bad run in 95/96 where it seemed like they had no idea what to do with guys. Steve Austin becomes the Ringmaster and nearly dies off as a character before saving himself. Johnny B. Badd becomes The Wildman Marc Mero, who is not particularly wild and not over. A lot was due to Pat Patterson getting phased out because he was really strong at coming up with stuff like that.

As for the best, Mean Mark becomes Undertaker has to top the list. ​
