Modern WWE Style

By Scott Keith on 13 December 2015

Scott,

Modern WWE matches feature far fewer transitional holds and moves than matches of the past, it all feels it’s just about doing a move, waiting and then doing another. There is no urgency or tact just a routine.

Is this another Dunn-ism?

Cheers.

In the sense that it’s a TV product now and house shows are secondary, so they build things as a TV show with spots for commercial breaks and bullshit like that. And yeah, it’s become very choreographed, which makes it extra hard for guys like Reigns to connect with the fans when they’re dumping on him and he can’t adjust his game. Hell, look at what they’ve done to Apollo Crews already by "fixing" his promos.
