The return of Jimmy Snuka in 89

Did Vince still see any money in Jimmy Snuka when he returned in 1989 to the WWF.

He initially was pushed strong for a few months, but by the fall of 89 was already relegated to lower mid card status and the occasional squash match win on the syndicated shows.

Did Vince simply see Snuka was not as over as when he left the company a few years earlier? Or was the plan all along for Snuka to have a jobber to the stars type role?

​Yeah, he was just building him up a bit to put him into a midcard role. Snuka was pretty broken down even at that point.​
