WWE Negotiating a Deal With WWN Live?
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the WWE was upset over the fact that Ring of Honor released an action figure of Kevin Steen (The deal was originally signed in late 2013 but there were delays on the company, Figures Inc, end). A source told Johnson that the WWE does not want to get into a situation where they sign someone and have to go through a third party in order to license them (Figures Inc. is planning on a line of wrestling action figures of Independent Talents) so they are in preliminary talks to form a relationship with WWN, allowing them to sign talents to deals that would include merchandising and licensing rights so if and when the WWE wanted to bring them into NXT they would not have to go through a third party to get a deal done.
