Is this full-on hate for Reigns' push to the main event unprecedented?
In a 'what if?' scenario, what matches/angles/push of the past do you think would have been met with such fervour and condemnation if the internet was around (so basically thinking pre 90's)?
If you read really old Observers, Bob Backlund was met with disdain by Dave and his readers all the time. Backlund defending the title against, say, random Samoans near the end of his reign was pretty much buried and ridiculed on a weekly basis. When will they learn that a collegiate champion wrestler World champion defending against a Samoan WILL NEVER WORK?!
