Riyadh airport attacked again weeks before WWE Crown Jewel
Fresh security concerns have emerged ahead of WWE Crown Jewel 2026 after Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi group issued new threats against Saudi Arabian airports and airspace. According to the BBC, the group warned that airports could become targets, while Saudi authorities reported that a missile strike at Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport on Saturday killed 12 people and injured 309. The airport was reportedly struck again on Sunday, causing a fire and further injuries. Bryan Alvarez previously reported that WWE officials were discussing whether to proceed with Crown Jewel in Riyadh amid the escalating conflict. The event remains scheduled for November 7 at Riyadh Season Stadium, with WWE yet to announce any changes to its plans.
WWE Raw And SmackDown Miss Netflix’s Top 10 In Japan In Their First Week On The Service
WWE’s expansion onto Netflix in Japan has reportedly experienced a disappointing start, with neither Raw nor SmackDown entering the country’s top 10 most-watched programmes during their first week on the platform. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, neither show reached the rankings even on its first day of availability after WWE programming launched on Netflix Japan on October 1, 2026. Dave Meltzer highlighted the figures as particularly noteworthy given Japan’s status as one of the world’s largest professional wrestling markets. Raw has attracted significant Netflix viewership in 58 countries, but Japan is not among them. Meanwhile, the October 5 episode of Raw, featuring Roman Reigns, recorded a 3.5% decline in first-day Netflix viewership compared to September 28.
Tiffany Stratton Says She’s “Banged Up” After Scary MITB Spot
Tiffany Stratton has admitted she was left feeling battered following her victory in the women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WWE Money in the Bank 2026. Stratton endured several dangerous-looking moments during the contest, including an awkward head landing after jumping from the top of a ladder. Speaking to Jackie Redmond on WWE’s post-show, Stratton acknowledged the match’s physical toll but insisted winning the Money in the Bank briefcase made the pain worthwhile. “Physically, I’m a little banged up … I’m sure we all saw what happened out there. Couple of crazy bumps, but all in all, I won this briefcase, so I’m doing amazing,” she said.
