WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title Match Set For Evolution

Raw GM Adam Pearce has confirmed that the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title will be on the line at Evolution.

Pearce posted a video last night to announce that a Triple Threat Match will be taking place at the pay-per-view on July 13, as Becky Lynch will put her title on the line against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. Lynch captured the title from Valkyria at Money in the Bank in a Last Chance Match, where if Lynch had lost, she would have never been able to challenge for the title again for as long as Valkyria held the belt.

Bayley has defended the title once on the June 23 episode of Raw, where her match against Bayley was stopped due to interference from Valkyria. Bayley and Valkyria also had a match last week on Raw that ended in a double pin.

Pearce also announced in the video that Lynch will be appearing on Raw tonight to discuss the upcoming Triple Threat Match, and if I were a betting man, I’d wager that we will also see appearances from Valkyria and Bayley during this segment.

• Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Trish Stratus for the Women’s Championship
• Iyo Sky (c) vs. Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship
• Becky Lynch (c) vs. Lyra Valykria vs. Bayler for the Women’s Intercontinental Title
• Jacy Jayne (c) vs. Jordynne Grace for the NXT Women’s Championship
• Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez (c) vs. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss vs. 2 teams TBD in a Four-Way match for the Women’s Tag Team Title
• Naomi vs. Jade Cargill in a No Holds Barred Match
• Battle Royal for a title match at Clash in Paris
