By Conor Renshaw on 9 November 2025
An update has been provided on the return timeline for Zoey Stark.
It has been reported by Bodyslam that Zoey Stark is hoping to return to the ring by mid-2026. The report also states that WWE is still “very high” on Stark and wants to bring her back as a babyface and give her a push.
Stark suffered a very serious knee injury on the May 19 episode of Raw during a Triple Threat match where she faced off against Rhea Ripley and Kairi Sane. Stark performed a missile dropkick during the match and landed awkwardly on her knee and tore her ACL, MCL and meniscus in the process. The injury was so severe that she required surgery to repair it.
How Long Has Zoey Stark Been With WWE?
Zoey Stark joined WWE in 2021 after starting her wrestling career on the independent scene in 2013. She joined the NXT brand and quickly rose to prominence in the women’s division, capturing the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship with Iyo Sky, then known as Io Shirai, on July 6, 2021, at The Great American Bash.
Stark made her Royal Rumble debut at the 2023 Rumble, entering at number 13 and lasting over 25 minutes. She was then drafted to Raw during the 2023 draft and made her main roster debut on the May 8, 2023, episode of Raw, defeating Nikki Cross. She made an alliance with WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus at the 2023 Money in the Bank event and would aid Stratus in her feud with Becky Lynch, until Payback, where Lynch turned face and attacked Stratus after she slapped and berated Stark after her Steel Cage match loss to Lynch.
In 2024, Stark formed a faction with Shayna Baszler and Sonya Deville called Pure Fusion Collective, until Deville was released in early 2025, making P.F.C. a tag team consisting of Stark and Baszler, until Baszler was also released in May 2025.
