Update On AEW’s Will Ospreay Post Neck Operation
By Conor Renshaw on 3 November 2025
An update has been provided on AEW star Will Ospreay following his neck surgery.
Will Ospreay was written off of AEW’s programming at Forbidden Door on August 24 after it was revealed that he was dealing with a herniated disc in his C2 and C6 vertebrae. Since then, not much has been said from either AEW or Ospreay about his injury or his recovery from said injury. But now, an update from Saminder Singh of the Body Alignment Clinic in Rainham, England, posted various images to Instagram of Ospreay in the clinic and of his neck X-ray.
In the post, Singh stated that Ospreay had undergone surgery six weeks ago, and said that despite him still being a long way off from full recovery, he is doing very well.

When Is Will Ospreay Expected To Be Back From Injury?
Also in the post, Singh added the caption “Jan 2026” with a rocket ship emoji, hinting that Will Ospreay may be recovered by early next year. Although it isn’t known if this is when Ospreay could just be finishing his physio, or if that is the timeframe expected for him to return to the ring.
