By Conor Renshaw on 1 August 2025
A TNA World Title match and the X-Division Championship will be on the line at Emergence. Also, next week’s Impact will see the Knockouts Title and the International Championship on the line.
On last night’s episode of TNA Impact, two matches were announced for the upcoming Emergence pay-per-view set for August 15. In the main event of the show, Trick Williams will defend his TNA World Championship against Moose, and Leon Slater will put his X-Division Title on the line against Cedric Alexander. Another match for Emergence was also teased last night, as Sami Callihan cut a promo challenging Mike Santana to a match at the show.
Williams last defended the TNA Title at Slammiversary, where he defeated Joe Hendry and Mike Santana in a three-way match. Slater last defended the X-Division Championship on last week’s episode of Impact when he beat Cedric Alexander and Jason Hotch also in a three-way match.
What Matches Were Confirmed For Next Week’s Episode Of TNA Impact?
In other title match news, Ash by Elegance will challenge Knockouts Champion Jacy Jayne after Elegance interfered in Jayne’s match last night against Masha Slamovich, causing Jayne to lose by DQ. TNA International Champion Steve Maclin will defend his title against Jake Something next week, also.
Also scheduled for Impact next week is M by Elegance and Heather by Elegance facing the team of Lei Ying Lee and Xia Brookside, and Joe Hendry will go one-on-one against Mustafa Ali.
So, who do you think will walk away from Emergence as TNA World Champion and as X-Division Champion? Will we see a new Knockouts and International Champion after next week’s Impact? And which match are you looking forward to the most at Emergence?
