The APA Reunite At Independent Wrestling Event

By Conor Renshaw on 24 November 2025

Former WWF Tag Team Championship team The APA reunited at an independent show.

After over 20 years since the APA last competed in a WWE ring, the team of Bradshaw and Faarooq reunited on Saturday at the Wildkat Sports Revolution Rumble, confronting two of the wrestlers on the show.

Footage of Bradshaw and Faarooq’s appearance has been shared on Instagram, and in the clip, Bradshaw snatches a chair out of one of the wrestler’s hands and gives it to Faarooq as the other wrestler shouts at the WWE Hall of Famer’s saying “get him”, presumably expecting them to lay out the other competitor for him.

However, Bradshaw then walked behind the shouting wrestler, grabbed him by the arm, spun him around, and delivered Clothesline From Hell to a massive reaction from the crowd. Both Bradshaw and Faarooq then walked out of the ring, concluding their involvement in the event.

How Long Were The APA In WWE?

The APA formed in WWE as The Acolytes in 1998, managed by The Jackyl, now known in AEW as Don Callis, and they debuted on Sunday Night Heat on November 15 of that year, attacking 8-Ball, Skull, and Paul Ellering. They joined The Undertaker’s Ministry of Darkness in 1999 and began feuding with X-Pac and Kane over the WWF World Tag Team Title, and won their first tag titles together on the May 31 episode of Raw.

The team became the APA in the year 2000 and would have memorable backstage segments of them in their “office” where the two men would always be playing cards until another wrestler came and asked if they could employ their services to protect them during their match that night.

They would continue to team together until they separated in 2002 after the first draft, where Bradshaw was drafted to Raw and Faarooq was drafted to SmackDown. After Bradshaw was injured in September 2002 and spent six months out of the ring, both he and Faarooq reunited in WWE’s developmental territory, OVW, until they returned to team together on the June 19, 2003, episode of SmackDown. They would continue to team together until Faarooq retired from wrestling in 2004.
