Seth Rollins Sidelined From WWE Programming Due To Injury

By Conor Renshaw on 14 October 2025

It has been reported that an angle on last night’s episode of Raw was used as a way to write Seth Rollins off of WWE TV to give him time to recover from an injury he recently picked up.

On last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw, a shocking angle took place when The Vision’s Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed turned on their faction leader, after they viciously attacked CM Punk following his win over Jey Uso and LA Knight to become the new number one contender for Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship.

Reed, Rollins, Breakker, and Paul Heyman all stood tall in the middle of the ring following their attack on Punk, and as the Raw end title card was shown, signalling the end of the show, Breakker delivered a spear to Rollins before approaching Reed and exchanging some words with the Australian, who then dragged Rollins to the corner to deliver a Tsunami Splash. Heyman attempted to stop the attack, but Breakker grabbed him and spoke with him before Heyman reluctantly raised both Reed and Breakker’s arms to close the show.

Why Did Bronson Reed And Bron Breakker Attack Seth Rollins On Raw?

Following this surprising angle, a report emerged from PWInsider that states that it is believed that Seth Rollins picked up a shoulder injury during his Crown Jewel Title match against Cody Rhodes at the titular pay-per-view last Saturday. The injury has not been confirmed, but Rollins was seen wearing a sling in a photo that was taken with a fan after the event.

It is unknown if the report of the injury is correct, and if it is, it is unknown when Rollins will be back in action, but it is expected that he is planned to defend his World Heavyweight Title against CM Punk at the November 1 Saturday Night’s Main Event in Salt Lake City, Utah.

What do you think about Reed and Breakker turning on Rollins? Did you see it coming, or did it catch you totally by surprise? And if Rollins is injured, do you think he will be back soon to defend the title against CM Punk, or will he have to vacate?
