Seth Rollins Confirms Recovery Timeline
By Craig Ballantyne on 31 October 2025
Seth Rollins has revealed how long he’ll be out of action after his recent shoulder injury.
At WWE Crown Jewel, Seth Rollins defeated Cody Rhodes in the main event to be crowned the Crown Jewel Champion. However, The Visionary didn’t escape unscathed as he could be seen favouring his arm towards the end of the bout.
On the October 13th edition of Raw, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed turned on Rollins, launching a brutal assault that saw Breakker spear his former leader, quickly followed by a Tsunami from Reed. The following week, Rollins was stripped of the World Heavyweight Title, with Adam Pearce announcing that the attack had caused a serious injury that required surgery.
While Rollins has legitimately had shoulder surgery, it was actually due to an injury he suffered during his match at Crown Jewel.
Seth Rollins Will Be Back In WWE In 6 Months
Now, Rollins has revealed how long he will be out of action. While co-hosting Good Morning Football, Rollins admitted he wishes he could rip his sling off and get back to it, but it would be another six months. He also commented on CM Punk and Jey Uso, who will face off at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1st for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship.
“I wish. I wish I could rip this thing off man but I’m out guy… Six months. My World Championship is gonna be worn by some schmuck. Either Jey Uso or CM Punk. It’s awful. It really is the Halloween scaries, guys, but I’m here…”
The timeline means Seth Rollins will be out until around May 2026, meaning he is likely to miss WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
