Marty Jannetty Reportedly Has Foot Amputated

The word making the rounds from former professional wrestler Eddy Mansfield is that Marty Jannetty had his foot amputated. Dedicated fans might remember seeing Jannetty’s ankle in rough shape over the years, with some very graphic images available for those who want to hit the google machine.

For those unfamiliar with Marty Jannetty, despite being a smooth worker that could make any opponent look like a million bucks, his lasting legacy, at least for WWE, is the incredible number of chances he was given, rivaled only by the Iron Sheik in the number of times he was released and brought back, with 8 or 9 different stints spanning 1987 through the late 00’s.
