Hulk Hogan’s Widow Preparing To File Medical Malpractice Lawsuit

By Conor Renshaw on 28 August 2025

The widow of the late Hulk Hogan, Sky Daily, is reportedly going to file a medical malpractice lawsuit over the death of the WWE Hall of Famer.

It has been reported by various news outlets, such as TMZ and the Daily Mail, that Hulk Hogan’s widow, Sky Daily, intends to sue at least one of Hogan’s doctors for malpractice that she believes caused his death on July 24. She believes that the malpractice occurred when Hogan had neck surgery in May, as he experienced complications for weeks following the surgery, up until his passing.

Hogan’s official cause of death was listed as a cardiac arrest, but Daily says that Hogan’s phrenic nerve was compromised during the neck surgery in May. The phrenic nerve is a vital nerve that starts near the C3 vertebrae in your neck and connects to both the C4 and C5 vertebrae, and is a huge part of your respiratory system as it sends signals to your diaphragm to make it expand and contract when you breathe.

Who Attended Hulk Hogan’s Funeral?

Hulk Hogan’s funeral took place on August 5 and was attended by many famous faces from the world of wrestling and beyond, with the likes of Ric Flair, Vince McMahon, Triple H, Kid Rock, and Dennis Rodman in attendance to pay their respects to the Hulkster.
