Gabe Kidd Injured At AEW Dynasty

Tony Khan has confirmed that Gabe Kidd is set for time away from the ring following an injury at AEW Dynasty.
Gabe Kidd was injured during The Dogs’ AEW World Trios Championship defence against The Conglomeration, which featured Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, and returning star Kyle O’Reilly. The match was affected mid-way through when Kidd was escorted backstage by medical staff.
The Conglomeration went on to win the titles, with O’Reilly, making his first appearance back from a neck injury, forcing a submission on Clark Connors to secure the victory. Speaking at the post-show press conference, Khan confirmed Kidd’s status but stopped short of providing a full timeline.
“Gabe is out indefinitely. He’s injured. It’s a shoulder injury. We’ll be evaluating him. So I can’t say for sure what the injury is, but the doctors are evaluating Gabe for an injury,” Khan said.
O’Reilly addressed the situation, noting the need to adapt during the match after Kidd’s exit.
“Then I was thinking in my head, all right, there’s only two of them. Now, if we don’t do this, Roddy’s gonna beat me up and never let me hear the end of it,” he said.
Cassidy added:
“But we did it, right? We did it.”
AEW Dynamite returns on April 15, 2026, from Everett, Washington, with multiple title matches already announced as part of the Spring BreakThru special.
