Former Try Guys Star Ned Fulmer Makes AEW Debut At Collision Tapings

Former Try Guys star and internet celebrity Ned Fulmer made his pro wrestling debut last night in a dark match at the AEW Collision TV tapings.

Wrestling under the name “Nasty Ned”, Fulmer teamed with Spanish Announce Project (Angelico and Seprentico) to take on The Frat House’s Griff Garrison, Cole Karter, and Jacked Jameson. It is unknown if the match will air on either AEW or ROH TV, but it was advertised as a “bonus” match for the event. Ned and his team defeated The Frat House in the match, making him 1-0 in his pro wrestling career.

If you don’t know who Fulmer is, he was a popular YouTuber who used to work on The Try Guys YouTube channel and was one of the four founders, along with Eugene Lee Yang, Keith Habersberger, and Zach Kornfeld. Their videos centred around the group trying different activities and products, and they initially started creating this content while they all worked for BuzzFeed back in 2014. They became massively popular and started their own company, Try LLC, in 2018 after leaving BuzzFeed, and their YouTube channel currently has 7.91 million subscribers and over 2.9 billion video views.

Fulmer was removed from the company in September 2022 after videos surfaced on social media of Fulmer kissing one of The Try Guy’s producers, Alexandria Herring, despite Fulmer being married to his wife, Ariel. He and his wife had been together for ten years at the time and have two children together; the couple are separated but is not currently divorced.

Fulmer has stepped back into the public eye recently after launching his podcast “Rock Bottom”, with his first guest being his estranged wife, and the public reaction to this podcast was overwhelmingly negative, with many believing that Fulmer avoided taking responsibility for his actions.

What Other Matches Took Place On The AEW Collision TV Tapings?

Other than “Nasty” Ned Fulmer’s pro wrestling debut, the tapings for Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision saw matches such as Triangle of Madness taking on Kris Statlander, Toni Storm, and Harley Cameron, Megan Bayne, and FTR squared off against JetSpeed Babes, and Josh Alexander vs. Kota Ibushi ended in a countout after Ibushi suffered an injury and had to be stretchered out of the arena.
