Former ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham Suffers Two Strokes

Former ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham has revealed that he suffered two strokes just days after his match against Pete Dunne at Bloodsport.

Gresham posted on Twitter yesterday that two days ago, he woke up and found that he was unable to walk or move the whole left side of his body. He also said he was having difficulty seeing and talking, and it took him 30 minutes to call 911.

Gresham then wrote that he received an MRI whilst in the hospital, and it revealed that he had suffered two strokes. He then shared that he received numerous tests following his MRI, but they have all come back clean, and his doctors are unsure what caused the multiple strokes, but that it could have possibly been caused by complications from a bad case of COVID-19 that Gresham suffered from a few weeks ago.

Gresham stated that it may be the case that he never finds out what caused these strokes, but that he will be taking a break from wrestling for at least two to four weeks until he is fully cleared by his neurologist.

Gresham also posted that his wife, Jordynne Grace, was not at home when he suffered his strokes, as she was in Orlando, Florida, due to her NXT obligations, with her last match taking place at the Evolution pay-per-view, and she saw her husband being taken to the hospital by the emergency services via their Ring doorbell. Gresham said that Grace got on the next flight from Orlando to Atlanta and was by his side when he woke up.
