Dave Meltzer has released his star ratings for WWE Elimination Chamber 2026, offering his assessment of the matches from the latest premium live event.
The ratings were published in the most recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, where Meltzer evaluated each bout on the card.
This year’s Elimination Chamber event received a mixed reaction from fans and critics. Some viewers felt the show lacked major surprises, drawing comparisons to the 2026 Royal Rumble, which also received criticism for being somewhat underwhelming.
One of the more talked-about moments on the road to the event involved the mysterious crate that appeared on WWE Raw, which ultimately revealed the debut of former AEW star Danhausen.

Meltzer’s ratings for the Elimination Chamber matches are as follows:
- Women’s Chamber Match: Rhea Ripley defeated Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Kiana James, Raquel Rodriguez, and Tiffany Stratton – ***1/2
- WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship: AJ Lee defeated Becky Lynch (c) – *** (title change)
- WWE World Heavyweight Championship: CM Punk (c) defeated Finn Balor – ****1/4
- Men’s Chamber Match: Randy Orton defeated Cody Rhodes, Je’Von Evans, LA Knight, Logan Paul, and Trick Williams – ****
The highest-rated match on the card was the World Heavyweight Championship match between CM Punk and Finn Balor, which Meltzer awarded four and a quarter stars.
The Men’s Chamber match, which saw Randy Orton secure a championship opportunity at WrestleMania 42, followed closely behind with a four-star rating.
