Another AEW Star Out With Injury

AEW has announced that another star is injured in what seems to be a never-ending wave of injury news.

AEW had announced that Queen Aminata was to take on Megan Bayne on last night’s episode of Dynamite in a Blood & Guts Advantage match, but Tony Khan took to social media just hours prior to the show and confirmed that Aminata is injured and would be replaced in her match by Mina Shirakawa.

It has not been confirmed if Aminata will be absent from next week’s Blood & Guts special event, but it is likely that she will be replaced by Shirakawa there also. It is not currently known what injury Aminata is suffering from.

When Was Queen Aminata’s Last AEW Match?

Queen Aminata last wrestled for AEW on last week’s Halloween-themed Fright Night Dynamite, where she teamed with Jamie Hayter to take on Julia Hart and Skye Blue in a first-round match of the Women’s Tag Team Title tournament. Aminata and Hayter were defeated in that match by Hart and Blue.

Aminata has been with AEW since 2021, when she debuted on an episode of Dark and made her TV debut on the November 25, 2022, episode of Rampage. She has also wrestled for Ring of Honor during her tenure with the company.
