AJ Lee Return Teased On WWE Raw

AJ Lee could be returning to the WWE soon, as the company alluded to her possible return on last night’s episode of Raw.

At the Clash in Paris pay-per-view on Sunday, Seth Rollins defended his World Heavyweight Championship against CM Punk and LA Knight in the main event of the show. At the end of the match, Rollins’ wife, Becky Lynch, entered the ring to deliver a low blow to Punk, which allowed Rollins to hit the Stomp and pick up the win to retain his title.

This led to fan speculation that this could lead to a mixed tag match between Lynch and Rollins versus Punk and AJ Lee, and while this hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, a segment on last night’s episode of Raw further fuelled the fire of fan speculation. The segment in question was a promo battle between Punk and Lynch, and during the segment, fans chanted for Lee, and Lynch responded to them by saying, “Classic, always chanting for a dope that doesn’t work here.”

The segment concluded with Rollins walking onto the entrance ramp and Lynch delivering a slap to Punk. Lynch then goaded Punk to slap her back, but Punk refused and said, “I’m gonna make Seth Rollins regret ever cashing in on me, and you’re gonna regret putting your hands on me.”

When Could AJ Lee Return To WWE?

It is speculated that AJ Lee could be returning to WWE on Friday’s episode of SmackDown, as it takes place in Lee and Punk’s hometown of Chicago, and following the segment in front of the crowd on Raw, Punk had a backstage segment with Raw GM Adam Pearce, as Punk was looking for Rollins. Pearce told Punk that Rollins and Lynch had already left the building and that he could confront them again on the next episode of Raw.

Punk then asked Pearce where the next episode of SmackDown will take place, and Pearce replied, “Chicago, home sweet home, why?” Punk then chuckled to himself, patted Pearce on the shoulder and simply said “tremendous” before walking away, which could be a hint that he and Lee will be at SmackDown on Friday.
