AEW Announces Date & Location For WrestleDream 2025

AEW has announced the details for the 2025 edition of WrestleDream.
On July 21st, Tony Khan announced in the St. Louis Business Journal that WrestleDream will be leaving the state of Washington for the first time. The event will instead take place in the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri, on October 18th.
Commenting on the event in the Business Journal, Khan said he was thrilled for WrestleDream to become part of St. Louis’ long list of iconic pro wrestling events.
“We are thrilled to bring AEW WrestleDream to St. Louis on Saturday, October 18. The city has hosted an impressive list of iconic wrestling events through the years, and we look forward to WrestleDream becoming another chapter in St. Louis wrestling history.”
Premium tickets for the show go on sale on July 22nd with the general sale following on July 28th.

Bryan Danielson Retired At AEW WrestleDream 2024
WrestleDream 2024 (recently reviewed by Scott!) saw Bryan Danielson’s AEW World Title reign, and full-time pro-wrestling career, come to a crushing end. After a brutal war, The American Dragon was defeated by Jon Moxley after being driven into the mat with a Gotch-style piledriver and passing out in a bulldog choke.
Danielson wasn’t seen in the ring again until All In Texas, when he helped take out the Death Riders to allow Hangman Adam Page to win the World Title.
