AEW Announces Date & Location For Worlds End 2025

Tony Khan has announced the details for the 2025 edition of AEW Worlds End.

Khan broke the news on Q101, telling Case Lowe that Worlds End would take place at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

All Elite Wrestling has strong ties to the Chicago area and is currently coming to the end of a three-week residency at the city’s Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom. Khan says there have been “so many” great shows there, and he’s excited to bring Worlds End to the area for the first time.

“We’ve had such a great run of AEW TV these past few weeks…we’ve had so many great pay-per-view shows here over the years. I thought it would be great for the first time ever, this holiday season, to bring AEW Worlds End to the Chicagoland area at least…I’m very excited to announce December 27th, for the first time ever, AEW Worlds End is coming to Chicago.”

AEW Returning To “Where It All Began”

Khan also noted that the NOW Arena is where it “all began” for AEW, with it having hosted the first All In event back in 2018 when it was known as the Sears Centre Arena.

“We’re going to have a great event. It’s going to be a great way to spend the holiday weekend. Saturday, December 27th, for the first time ever, AEW Worlds End at the NOW Arena, where it all began for us.”

Tickets for the show will go on general sale on Monday, September 8th, at 10:00 a.m., but fans can also sign up for a presale as part of the company’s ‘Insider’ program.

The inaugural Worlds End took place in 2023 and saw Samoa Joe defeat MJF for the AEW World Championship, while Eddie Kingston won the first Continental Classic, becoming a Triple Crown Champion in the process.

In 2024, Kazuchika Okada won the C2 by defeating Will Ospreay in the final in an instant classic. The main event saw John Moxley retain the AEW World Title in a Four-way match that also featured Orange Cassidy, Hangman Adam Page, and Jay White.
