4 New Matches Added To TNA Slammiversary Lineup

Following last night’s episode of Impact, TNA have confirmed that 4 new bouts have been confirmed for Slammiversary on July 20.

Last night’s episode of Impact saw a huge announcement of a title vs. title match between TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich and whoever the NXT Women’s Champion is after Jacy Jayne and Jordynne Grace battle it out at Evolution on July 13.

Given that we’ve already seen the TNA World Title change hands on NXT, it’s not out of the realm of possibilities that we could see the NXT Women’s Title change hands on a TNA pay-per-view. But if Grace does win the Knockouts belt, it would put her 2nd in total number of reigns and would mean she could have the chance to dethrone Gail Kim as the all-time combined number of days record holder for the title, as she is just 35 days away from overtaking Kim’s current record.

Also announced for Slammiversary is a Knockouts Tag Team Championship match as the former IIconics, Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay, will challenge the current champs, Ash by Elegance and Heather by Elegance.

And a couple of grudge matches have been added to the card as the feuding Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali will face off, and Indi Hartwell will battle with Tessa Blanchard.

What Does The TNA Slammiversary Card Look Like Now?

With those additions to the card, Slammiversary is shaping up like this:

  • Trick Williams (c) vs. Joe Hendy vs. Mike Santana in a Three-Way Match for the TNA World Championship
  • Masha Slamovich (c) vs. NXT Women’s Champion (Jacy Jayne or Jordynne Grace) (c) in a title vs. title match
  • Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth (c) vs. Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy vs. Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz vs. AJ Francis and KC Navarro in a ladder match for the Tag Team Championship
  • Moose (c) vs. Leon Slater for the X-Division Title
  • Ash by Elegance and Heather by Elegance (c) vs. Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay for the Knockouts Tag Title
  • Mustafa Ali vs. Cedric Alexander
  • Tessa Blanchard vs. Indi Hartwell
