The Incredible “Halloween Havoc” Hoax! – The Wrestler Magazine, February 1991

Hi Scott,

So many people in the comments of your Halloween Havoc 1990 review remembered this cover story from The Wrestler magazine about the ending of the Sting vs Sid Vicious match. I still have the magazine and was going to scan the photos and transcribe the text, but decided to just scan the four page story itself and send it over. Hopefully you can add it to the blog.

Say what you will about the Apter mags and their strict adherence to kayfabe, but they knew how to write some interesting stories that made being a wrestling fan so much fun back then.

FYI: I still have full sets of PWI, The Wrestler, and Wrestling Superstars from 1989-1992, and several before and after those years. If ever you're looking for a particular photo or story from that timeframe, I'd be happy to scan and share them as well.
