WWE Ring Boys Lawsuit Scores Another Victory

A federal judge has rejected a constitutional challenge brought by WWE, TKO Group Holdings, Vince McMahon and Linda McMahon in the ongoing Ring Boys sexual abuse lawsuit. U.S. District Judge James K. Bredar ruled against the defendants’ challenge to Maryland’s Child Victims Act of 2023, which removed time limits for civil lawsuits involving childhood sexual abuse.

The lawsuit alleges that underage boys working at WWE events during the 1980s and 1990s were groomed and sexually abused by employees, including Melvin Phillips Jr., and that WWE leadership knew or should have known about the alleged misconduct. The ruling follows a December 2025 decision largely rejecting earlier attempts to dismiss the case. Attorneys representing the plaintiffs welcomed the latest decision, which allows their claims to proceed without resolving the underlying allegations.

Drew McIntyre Teases Competing At WWE Survivor Series 2026

Drew McIntyre has sparked speculation about a potential WWE return at Survivor Series 2026 following a recent Instagram video. The Scottish star shared footage of himself opening a personalised football shirt sent by Mexican club Deportivo Guadalajara, but fans noticed that he had placed the package on a chair from last year’s Survivor Series. The detail has led to speculation that McIntyre could return at this year’s event, scheduled for November 28, although there has been no confirmation of any connection. McIntyre has been absent from WWE television since WrestleMania 42, where he lost an Unsanctioned match against Jacob Fatu. During his extended absence, the former WWE Champion has been involved in several Hollywood projects.

Judge denies Ludwig Kaiser’s motion to dismiss battery case

In more WWE legal news. A misdemeanour battery case against WWE star Ludwig Kaiser will proceed after a Florida judge denied his motion to dismiss the charge under the state’s Stand Your Ground law. The case stems from an April confrontation with Richard Reap at their Orlando apartment complex. Reap alleges Kaiser attacked him following a comment about his behaviour in an elevator, while Kaiser maintains that he acted in self-defence after Reap became aggressive towards him and his girlfriend, Andre Bazarte.

Both men testified at the October 19 hearing, with a pre-trial conference now scheduled for December 17, 2026. Reap has also hired a personal injury attorney, potentially indicating future civil action. The legal proceedings come as Kaiser enjoys success portraying El Grande Americano in AAA, where he currently holds the AAA Mega Championship.
