Backstage News On Whether WWE Believes The Rock Will Be Available For WrestleMania 43

WWE is preparing to hold WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia next year, marking the first WrestleMania staged outside North America. The dates have yet to be announced, although the event is expected to remain a two-night show, while watch parties and two special live events are also planned for New York. According to WrestleVotes Radio, WWE creative is currently operating under the assumption that The Rock will not have any substantial storyline involvement at WrestleMania 43. While plans could change, the company is reportedly moving forward without him. Dave Meltzer previously suggested Johnson’s filming commitments for the next Fast and Furious movie would make a match unlikely, although an appearance could still be possible.

Update On Logan Paul’s In-Ring Return Date

Logan Paul remains around two months away from potentially returning to the ring as he continues recovering from the torn triceps he suffered at Saturday Night’s Main Event in May. Paul underwent surgery and was initially given a six-month recovery timetable, although he has continued appearing on WWE television alongside The Vision. In his latest vlog, Paul met with WWE doctors and argued that he felt ready to be cleared despite experiencing pain while training. Doctors told him the risk of returning early currently outweighs the benefit and maintained that he needs another two months of recovery, although they suggested five and a half months from the injury would be the earliest possible return.

2 Cold Scorpio sent to jail following Thursday hearing

Former ECW, WCW and WWE star 2 Cold Scorpio has been jailed in Kansas City, Missouri, after violating the conditions of his bond by brandishing a firearm. Scorpio, real name Charles Scaggs, reportedly admitted to the violation after prosecutors argued that his possession of a firearm posed a danger to public safety. The 60-year-old had been out on bond after accepting a plea deal in August on charges of second-degree assault and armed criminal action stemming from a June 2024 stabbing incident, which he claimed was self-defence. Scorpio is scheduled to return to court for sentencing on October 9. He has not wrestled in approximately 13 months.
