Oba Femi Vs. Bron Breakker Set For WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event In Atlanta

Bron Breakker and Oba Femi will officially go one-on-one at WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event following weeks of tension over who represents the future of the company. The match was confirmed during Monday’s Raw after Breakker confronted Paul Heyman and demanded to know who he believes WWE’s future is. Femi then appeared, leading to another face-to-face before Heyman prevented the situation from becoming physical. Heyman revealed that he had spoken with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce, who made the match official for Sunday Night’s Main Event in Breakker’s hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. Femi vs. Breakker is the second confirmed match for the show, joining Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton.

Mercedes Mone says she was in talks with WWE before signing with AEW

Mercedes Moné has revealed that she was still in talks with WWE about a potential return when she attended AEW All In at Wembley Stadium in 2023. Writing in her Moné Mag, the former Sasha Banks said she attended the event as a free agent because she wanted to experience the historic show as a wrestling fan. Backstage, Moné met AEW President Tony Khan, who was enthusiastic about potentially involving her in a segment with Willow Nightingale, but Moné declined because she was not signed with the company.

After watching the event alongside more than 80,000 fans, Moné said the experience convinced her that AEW was the right destination for her. She eventually signed with AEW and will now return to Wembley Stadium on August 30 to challenge Nightingale for the AEW Women’s World Championship at All In 2026.

Tiffany Stratton Addresses When She Plans To Retire From Wrestling

Tiffany Stratton has revealed that she plans to continue wrestling for at least another decade before considering retirement. Speaking during an appearance on N3on’s Kick livestream, the 27-year-old said she expects to remain active until around the age of 35 before reassessing her future. Stratton began her WWE career in 2021 following a background in gymnastics and has since won the NXT Women’s Championship, Women’s Money in the Bank, WWE Women’s Championship and WWE Women’s United States Championship. Her most recent title reign ended on the August 14 episode of SmackDown, when she lost the Women’s United States Championship to Jacy Jayne after 112 days.
