The John Cena Classic Is Still Being Worked On

John Cena has confirmed WWE is continuing to work on the John Cena Classic, saying he is “very excited” about the event but cannot reveal any further details. Speaking to Extra, Cena said the show remains on course for later this year and promised to give his “absolute best” to an event that will bear his name. The John Cena Classic, announced at Backlash in May, is planned to feature WWE Raw, SmackDown and NXT stars competing in exhibition matches, with the winner of a new championship determined by a fan vote rather than match results. No date or venue has yet been announced.

Kairi Sane Hires Agent With AEW Ties For Post-WWE Bookings

Kairi Sane has appointed Barry Bloom as her representative following her WWE departure, fuelling speculation about her next move. Bloom manages several top AEW stars, including Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, Adam Page and Will Ospreay. Sane became a free agent after her 90-day non-compete clause expired on July 23, although she has not announced where she plans to wrestle next, despite ongoing speculation linking her to both AEW and a return to Stardom.

Sheamus says ‘some circumstances came up’ regarding WWE situation

Sheamus has addressed the uncertainty surrounding his WWE future, saying he is enjoying his time away from the ring but cannot discuss his current situation with the company. Speaking to Adam’s Apple, the former WWE Champion said he has been spending time with his family in Ireland and feels he is in the best shape of his life, adding that he has “no regrets” about his career despite never winning the Intercontinental Championship. Reports indicate Sheamus remains under a WWE contract until October 1.
