Daily Evening News Update: 7.26.26 – Redemption Edition

Good evening Doomsters! Are you ready to redeem yourself? It’s Redemption time.

AEW presents Redemption at 7 p.m. ET (The Buy In begins at 6 p.m.). We have ten matches on the main card including AEW World Champion Kenny Omega defending against Kevin Knight, AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla battling Willow Nightingale and a no holds barred match between Tommaso Ciampa and Chris Jericho (but wearing face paint). Cage and Cope battle the Death Riders, we have a six-way ladder match and plenty more on the card. Scott will be along with his Rant at some point depending on what time the show ends.

If you’d like to go in a slightly older direction, WWE Vault presents SummerSlam 2009 at 7 p.m. ET. We have Cena vs Orton one more time, Jeff Hardy vs CM Punk in a TLC match, DX teaming up against The Legacy and most importantly, Christian vs William Regal. Don’t worry, those pesky women were stuck on the preshow in an obligatory battle royal, so they won’t be around to get in the way of stuff like Kane vs Great Khali. 2017 Scott Keith Ranted on it if you’d like to compare that moment in time with the show.
