Brock Lesnar Returns, Huge Match Set For WWE SummerSlam
Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi are set to face off inside Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam after Lesnar accepted Femi’s challenge on Raw. Femi, fresh off winning the 2026 King of the Ring tournament, was preparing to announce his championship decision when Lesnar interrupted, attacked him with a low blow and an F5, and agreed to the match with the added Hell in a Cell stipulation. Backstage, Femi told Adam Pearce he was willing to delay cashing in his World Championship opportunity, saying the title would still be there when he was ready. The SummerSlam bout will serve as the rubber match in their rivalry after splitting victories at WrestleMania 42 and Clash in Italy.
Roman Reigns To Defend World Heavyweight Title Against Seth Rollins At WWE SummerSlam
Roman Reigns will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam after accepting Rollins’ challenge on Raw. Rollins reflected on their 14-year history, reminding Reigns of key moments including betraying The Shield, cashing in at WrestleMania 31 and defeating Reigns and CM Punk at WrestleMania 41. Although Reigns initially told Rollins to get to the back of the line, he eventually accepted the challenge, saying he doesn’t just want to beat Rollins; he needs to.

WWE Undergoes New Round Of Staff Releases
WWE has reportedly carried out another round of internal staff cuts, this time affecting employees in its social media and digital departments rather than in-ring talent. According to PWInsider, between two and four staff members have left the company, though the total number could be higher. The reported layoffs come as WWE continues to restructure under TKO Group Holdings, following a series of backstage and roster cuts in recent years.
