Bronson Reed Involved In Car Accident On Tuesday

Bronson Reed has revealed that he was involved in a car accident this week while continuing his recovery from a torn bicep. In an Instagram post, Reed confirmed that everyone involved was unharmed but urged drivers to stay off their phones and pay attention to the road. The accident comes while Reed remains sidelined after suffering a distal bicep tear on Raw in February, an injury that required surgery. Reports have indicated that WWE plans for Reed to feud with Roman Reigns upon his return, though no timetable has been announced.

Mick Foley Open To Possibility Of Having AEW Match

Mick Foley says he hasn’t ruled out wrestling one final match, though only if the right opportunity presents itself. Speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, Foley noted that his recent 100-pound weight loss, along with successful hip and knee replacements, has significantly improved his quality of life. While acknowledging that any return would need to avoid head trauma and minimise health risks, Foley believes he still has “one last good match” left in him. However, he stressed that “all the stars would have to align” and that the match would need to make sense.

AEW Announces Return To Arena Mexico

AEW has officially announced the return of its Grand Slam Mexico event. The second edition of the show will take place on August 5, 2026, at Arena Mexico in Mexico City and will air live in the United States on TBS and HBO Max, while also being broadcast in Mexico on Fox Sports Mexico. Tickets go on sale June 6. The inaugural Grand Slam Mexico in 2025 was widely praised and featured major matches, including Mercedes Mone defeating Zeuxis for the CMLL World Women’s Championship, Mistico facing MJF, and Kazuchika Okada taking on Mark Briscoe.

WWE Reveals Its Plan For Life After John Cena, The Rock, And CM Punk

WWE President Nick Khan has revealed that company executives have been planning for the future beyond stars such as John Cena, The Rock, and CM Punk. Speaking about a meeting held last year with Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and Chris Legentil, Khan said WWE recognised the need to accelerate the development of its next generation of stars as many of its top names are now in their 40s or nearing retirement. Michaels reportedly pushed for more developmental talent to perform in front of live audiences, believing that real audience reactions are essential to growth. Khan pointed to Oba Femi as an example of the type of young talent WWE hopes to develop into a future headlining attraction.
