Good evening doomers and welcome to your Evening Daily News Update for Wednesday, May 27th, 2026. The OKC Thunder came out swinging and took Game 5 from San Antonio without much drama, and will look to close out the series tomorrow night, which means no basketball as YOUR New York Knicks already clinched the Eastern Conference Championship and get to relax for another week.

We have plenty of content from the BOD Squad, including Niz’s weekly coverage of WWE NXT, Kat covers the documentary on wrestling’s #1 Superfan, Vladimir, Alex kicks off his next Book Reviews series as we kick off with a look into Jyushin Thunder Liger, Jabroniville’s latest batch of Dream Matches, and Logan’s World Was Watching the February 3rd, 1996 episode of Superstars.

AEW Dynamite Preview:
We’re just several days removed from Double or Nothing 2026, and it’s another 3-hour special with an hour of Collision tacked on. We have not one but TWO Championship Celebrations. Yay! At least there isn’t an Open Challenge.
