Chris Jericho Loses Return Match At AEW Dynasty
Chris Jericho began his latest AEW run with a loss, falling to Ricochet at AEW Dynasty. Despite multiple interferences from The Gates of Agony, Jericho nearly secured victory with the Walls of Jericho, but Ricochet escaped and later capitalised, hitting a Lionsault to score the pinfall win.
Gabe Kidd Injured At AEW Dynasty
Gabe Kidd is out indefinitely with a shoulder injury following AEW Dynasty, according to Tony Khan. Kidd was hurt during the AEW World Trios Title match and taken backstage mid-match, with The Conglomeration going on to win the championships.
Tony Khan Says He Spoke To Ricochet Following Controversial Social Media Post
Tony Khan confirmed he held a “frank” conversation with Ricochet over his recent social media controversy, stating the comments were “not acceptable” and violated company policy. Khan added that AEW has addressed the situation internally and is now looking to move forward, with Ricochet having since apologised for the incident.
Tony Khan States That He Initially Planned For ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm To Be In Action At AEW Dynasty
Tony Khan confirmed that Toni Storm was originally planned for AEW Dynasty before being ruled out following a recent storyline attack, with reports indicating she may be sidelined for the rest of the year. Khan added that both Storm and Kyle Fletcher were expected to play major roles on the card, with Fletcher also missing the event due to injury.
