Evening Daily News Update: 4.12.2026 – Dynasty Edition

Happy Sunday evening to you all. It’s another big night of wrestling, so let’s take a look at it.

AEW presents AEW Dynasty on PPV tonight at 8 p.m. ET with the Zero Hour preshow starting at 7 p.m.). Dynasty has nine matches on deck including MJF defending the AEW World Title against Kenny Omega, Thekla defending the AEW Women’s World Title against Jamie Hayter, a Casino Gauntlet match for the AEW TNT Title and, of course, Chris Jericho against Ricochet. Zero Hour adds an additional three matches including Jack Perry vs Mark Davis. Scott Keith will have your review in a considerable amount of time depending on if the show is four hours or ten hours long.

If you’d prefer to go retro, WWE Vault is livestreaming WrestleMania VIII tonight at 7 p.m. ET right here. We have a double main event as Hulk Hogan battles Sid Justice and WWF Champion Ric Flair defends against Randy Savage. In addition, Roddy Piper defends the Intercontinental Championship against Bret Hart, Undertaker faces Jake Roberts and we also have a match with Skinner. I’m sure we’ll have people live watching both shows (and who knows what other old shows) tonight down in the comments section.

Niz covered two very different wrestling programs last night, Lucha Libre AAA and AEW Collision. Scott Herrin has part one of his TNA Rebellion review series while the great Maffew took a look at AJPW on Nippon TV.

It’s documentary season and our annual Peacock “Becoming” WWE documentary is arriving tomorrow focused on Shawn Michaels. I’ll have a review of it up on Tuesday as a post-Raw treat as I did here, here and here. (I missed the Flair one but somehow don’t feel like I missed much.)
