San Luis Potosí Prosecutors Open Domestic Violence Investigation Against Alberto Del Rio

Alberto Del Rio is under formal criminal investigation in Mexico following his April 6, 2026, arrest, with prosecutors in San Luis Potosí pursuing a domestic violence charge. Authorities allege he physically and verbally assaulted his partner, identified as his wife Mary Carmen Rodríguez Lucero, with police detaining him at the scene after responding to a call for help. The case is now with a specialised unit handling crimes against women, with a judge set to review the investigation. If convicted, the base charge carries a sentence of one to seven years in prison, though a more serious offence could bring a potential eight to 20-year term.

Tony Khan Gives Details On Attempt To Purchase WWE

Tony Khan has addressed his decision to bid for WWE in 2023, revealing he wanted to be involved in the sale process and avoid regret if the company sold for less. Khan confirmed he had no complaints about how the process was handled, describing his $6.9 billion offer as a reasonable bid, though WWE was ultimately sold to Endeavor for $8.5 billion, leading to the formation of TKO Group.

Abyss Makes Surprising TNA Return

Abyss made a surprise return to TNA Wrestling on last night’s episode of TNA Impact, appearing in an Undead Realm segment alongside Rosemary and Father James Mitchell. The TNA Hall of Famer bowed before Mitchell and declared, “Forgive me, father, for I have sinned,” with the segment ending on a “to be continued” note, signalling more developments to come.

Veteran WWE Referee David Dwinell Passes Away At 76

David Dwinell has passed away at the age of 76 following a battle with a rare neurological condition. A respected referee in the Northeast wrestling scene for over 30 years, Dwinell worked with promotions including WWE and NWA. After retiring in 2015, he remained active in his community and stayed connected to wrestling through his work with the International Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame, which confirmed his passing and paid tribute to his legacy.
