Oba Femi Addresses Possible Brock Lesnar WWE Match

Oba Femi says he believes a match with Brock Lesnar will happen in the near future. Speaking with TV Insider, Femi said it would be “really cool” to face the former UFC and WWE champion, noting that fans have been calling for the bout since Lesnar announced an open challenge for WrestleMania 42. Femi added that their brief face-off in the 2026 Royal Rumble was a tease to gauge fan reaction. While Lesnar’s WrestleMania opponent has not yet been announced, Femi remains confident the matchup will eventually take place as he continues adjusting to life on WWE’s main roster after his NXT run.

Paul Heyman Off WWE TV “Indefinitely”

Paul Heyman has been ruled out indefinitely following an attack by Seth Rollins on the March 2 episode of WWE Raw. During this week’s broadcast, Michael Cole revealed that Heyman suffered a cervical spinal contusion, facial lacerations, and a deviated septum after Rollins struck him with a steel chair and delivered a Stomp. Heyman was taken away in an ambulance following the incident, though the vehicle was later intercepted by LA Knight. No timetable has been announced for Heyman’s return to WWE television.

AEW’s Kota Ibushi Provides Health Update, Return Timetable After Breaking Leg

Kota Ibushi says he hopes to return to the ring sooner than doctors expect after breaking his femur in an October 2025 AEW match with Josh Alexander. In an interview with HypeTalkTV, Ibushi said he can now walk but still cannot run, though he believes he could return in about six months rather than the one-year recovery doctors recommended, possibly for lighter matches in AEW. Ibushi previously appeared at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20 for Hiroshi Tanahashi’s retirement ceremony while still recovering. The Young Bucks also revealed that before the injury, plans called for The Golden Lovers (Ibushi and Kenny Omega) to face them at AEW Full Gear 2025.

Thea Hail Responds To Fan Backlash After NXT Title Win

Thea Hail has addressed the criticism she received following her WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship win in late 2025. In a social media video, Hail said the negative reaction became difficult to ignore, particularly after the title change occurred unexpectedly when Blake Monroe failed to kick out of a pin following a senton. Fans debated who was responsible for the mistake, and criticism continued even after Hail lost the title to Izzi Dame in January. Despite the backlash, Hail remains active in the NXT women’s division and is set to face Wren Sinclair to determine the next challenger for the WWE Women’s Speed Championship.
