WWE Quietly Splits Top Tag Team On RAW
Rhea Ripley has confirmed that she and Iyo Sky are pressing pause on their tag team as she shifts her focus to WrestleMania 42. The announcement followed their loss of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles to Nia Jax and Lash Legend on SmackDown, with Ripley now concentrating on her Women’s Championship match against Jade Cargill after winning the Elimination Chamber. Despite the split, there is no tension between the two, as Ripley and Sky shared an emotional moment on Raw, reaffirming their friendship ahead of Ripley’s title pursuit.
CM Punk Says He Will Bury Roman Reigns Next To His Father At WWE WrestleMania
Monday Night Raw closed with an explosive confrontation between World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and Roman Reigns in Indianapolis, culminating in a shocking and deeply personal threat. After the two traded barbs about their shared history, WrestleMania implications and Reigns’ claim that he would retire him, Punk escalated the feud by pointing out that Reigns stands alone without his usual allies before delivering a brutal final line, vowing that he would “bury” Reigns next to his father, WWE Hall of Famer Sika Anoa’i, who passed away in June 2024, leaving the segment to end on an intensely controversial note.
Demolition To Headline 2026 Hall Of Fame
Demolition, comprised of Ax, Bill Eadie, and Smash, Barry Darsow, have been announced as inductees into the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame. The news was delivered by The Undertaker during a Zoom call with both men. Debuting in the late 1980s clad in black leather and spikes, Demolition became one of WWE’s most dominant tag teams, capturing the World Tag Team Titles three times. Their 478-day reign, which began at WrestleMania IV, stood as a record for 28 years until it was broken by The New Day. Widely regarded as one of the era’s defining duos, Demolition now take their place among wrestling’s all-time greats.
WWE Announces Hall Of Fame 2026 Ceremony Date & Location
WWE has confirmed that the 2026 Hall of Fame ceremony will take place on April 17 at 9 pm PT at Dolby Live during WrestleMania 42 week in Las Vegas. The Class of 2026 currently includes Stephanie McMahon, AJ Styles, and Demolition, with more inductees set to be announced. Tickets go on sale March 10, with a presale beginning March 9.
