Evening Daily News Update: February 4, 2026

Good evening, doomers! It’s Wacky Wednesday and it’s time for another Evening Daily News Update (relevant news optional). We’ve got AEW Dynamite tonight, with the preview linked down below, as well as some HOT NBA action, as the Denver Nuggets visit YOUR New York Knicks, featured tonight on ESPN. We’ll follow that with Oklahoma City visiting San Antonio. It sure feels like all of their games were lumped close together this season, doesn’t it? The NBA trade deadline looms, and the Mavericks have dealt Anthony Davis to Washington, among other moves made across the league this afternoon.

Niz has the latest episode of WWE NXT for us to pore over as we crown a NEW NXT Champion and name an interim GM, Jabroniville has the next batch of Dream Matches (and a PWI 500 showcase), and Logan’s World Was Watching the October 10th, 1994 episode of Monday Night Raw.

Tonight, Kenny Omega takes on Andrade and his fabulous head of hair, MJF takes on Brody King in an Eliminator Match (if Brody can defeat MJF, he’ll earn a shot at the AEW Championship), and Ricochet defends the AEW National Championship against Jack Perry. All this and MORE starting at 8pm ET on TBS and HBO Max.
