Morning Daily News Update – 11th January 2026

Good Morning Everyone!

Thanks very much to Conor for covering the Morning Daily News Update for me yesterday. I was quite ill on Friday and Saturday and needed to spend some time in A+E, on the world’s most uncomfortable seats, whilst they tried to work out what was wrong with me. Thankfully I’m home now. As always with the NHS; the waiting times were miserable but the staff were great despite being miserably overworked. Maybe one day we’ll have a government that isn’t Tory, Tory-lite or Trump-inspired and they’ll actually treat and fund the health service properly, but I’m not holding my breath.
