WWE Monday Night Raw Review – 11.10.25

Your time is up, Raw’s time is now. Tonight, Monday Night Raw is in Boston. My part of the country is under a freeze warning tonight, but you’ll never catch me in the next man’s sweater.

Welcome to Boston and the sold out TD Garden. Tonight, the Last Time is Now Tournament begins. Shinsuke Nakamura is making a rare Raw appearance as is Damian Priest. The Kabuki Warriors have also arrived, and they’ll be going for the Women’s Tag Team Titles. WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer has arrived with her bestie Nikki Bella. Tonight, she’ll battle Raquel Rodriguez. Plus, we’ll talk about Logan Paul tonight. I guess. We’re live on Netflix and presented by DoorDash.

The fans chant for John Cena but here is Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, a man that just hates to be on TV. The fans chant for him because he’s here and damn it, we have to give him the spotlight. He says we live in a time when people don’t agree on much, which he would know as a frequent visitor of the White House. He says there is one thing we can all agree on and that is who the Greatest of All-Time is. Sir, please don’t go in this site’s comments section. He takes a very long time to say all of this. A long time.

John Cena is finally introduced and gets the hero’s welcome you’d expect. Gigantic pop and reception. He has a new shirt of course, giving a wink at the camera and a salute to cameraman Stew before running into the ring. He tells us that he has been asked who he would like to face but is stopped with a “thank you Cena” chant. HHH is still looming in the corner because this can’t just be John’s moment. Cena tells ushe wanted to leave the business better than he found it and pay back all the opportunities the company and fans have given him. He’s excited for the tournament and to give someone the chance to maybe say they retired John Cena. He also announces that at Saturday Night’s Main Event – the fans boo – it will be a night to close one chapter but will also be a night of opportunity. He says it will be a night where NXT has a spotlight on the big stage with the main roster having open challenges to NXT talent. He thanks us for his support and then we’re hit with some familiar music.

WWE Intercontinental Champion and AAA Mega Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio joins us. Can Cena be the one to make the fans boo Dom? They definitely boo as he looks right at Triple H and says he is the future. “Shut the fuck up” chant from the crowd. “Hunter, I want to know what you’re going to do about what happened last week. I am your AAA Mega Champion, the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time and my celebration was interrupted by some deadbeat.” He says he is the one who interrupts old men celebrating. Dom tells Cena it isn’t about him or Boston and to let the grown folk handle business or “I’ll put you down.” The fans chant “you fucked up.” Cena asks Dom if he’s forgotten where he is and who he is talking to. He says he is invincible tonight and tells the champ to choose his words very carefully, promising if Dom picks a fight he will lose. John says out of respect for Dom’s father, he’s going to give him the chance to walk back through the curtain.

Dom turns on a smile. “You’re gonna need more than magic to touch me because I’m not even at my peak yet and I’m better than you ever were in your prime. Any time, any place, any era, I would have whooped John Cena’s ass.” After the fans chant curse words some more, HHH interrupts and tells Dom that he agrees with the fans. He says this seems like a good era, a good place and a hell of a time. “Dominik, you will defend that Intercontinental Championship tonight right here, right now against the one and the only John Cena.” The fans go wild. HHH calls for a referee and says it is time to get to work.

WWE Intercontinental Title: WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio vs John Cena

Well, here we are. We come back from a break to Dom stomping on Cena and Joe Tess tells us that Dom jumped Cena during the ring introductions during the break. Dom stalls outside for a bit, walking to the back but being chased by Cena. Cena grabs Dom and Dom reverses his whip into the stairs, the crowd very against Dom tonight (or very for Cena). Dom sets up the stairs and poses on top of them as the fans chant “Let’s go Cena.” Cena barely beats the count back in. Dom lands all Three Amigos and gets a two count. Cena lifts Dom for the Attitude Adjustment but Dom bounces out for a DDT, another pin attempt and another commercial break.

Dom leaps over the ropes onto Cena’s knees as we return again. Cena powers up and knocks Dom down with the shoulder blocks and calls one last five knuckle shuffle in Boston, landing it successfully. He goes for the AA and Dom slides out, throwing Cena into the ring post. As the ref checks on Cena, Dom removes the turnbuckle pad from the opposite corner. While the ref fixes that, Dom slides out for a chair. Dom does the Eddie fake out and tosses it to Cena, who throws it down and falls out himself. The fans chant for Eddie. Cena gives a giant wink to Dom who argues with the ref. Dom walks right into the AA but Dom grabs the rope, the referee being knocked down as John pulls him off.

John latches on the STF and Dom taps but we have no referee. Dom slides out and grabs the Intercontinental Title, missing Cena who hits the AA again and calls for a referee. By the time the new ref makes it, Dom kicks out at 2.5. Cena runs into the 619 setup, Dom hitting it and the frog splash. Cena catches him and rolls through, tossing Dom up on his shoulders, hitting the AA and pinning him. We have a new Intercontinental Champion.

John Cena pins Dominik Mysterio to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion. I’m not mad at it at all. An enjoyable match in front of a HOT crowd. Dom will be fine and no, he’s not going to be hurt by losing to John Cena of all people. I imagine this won’t be the last Cena hears of him. A good watch and a good moment. Cena celebrates and asks for a mic. “Tonight, the champ is HERE.” The fireworks explode as Cena poses with his new gold. Joe Tess calls this “one for the road” which is a good one.

Cena celebrates in the Gorilla position with many including Rey Mysterio who tells John that Dom needed that ass-kicking. Horrible father. Here’s Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes shaking Cena’s hand, saying he wouldn’t miss this.

Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett greet us from ringside. After calling for the Garden to give Cena a banner in the rafters, we watch clips of Punk, Logan, Jey and the Brons from last week.

Earlier today, Logan Paul arrived.

A video package thanks the veterans on behalf of WWE. This gets a “USA” chant from the crowd.

The Last Time is Now Tournament First Round Match: Damian Priest vs Rusev

I miss Priest on Raw. Joe calls attention to the damage to Priest’s eye thanks to Aleister Black attacking him on SmackDown. Priest has no history with Cena while Rusev lost to him once at WrestleMania. They tussle in the corner before Rusev is able to get an advantage with a spinning back heel kick. Priest tries for Old School but Rusev grabs him, tossing him to send us to a break.

Priest is fighting back when we return, hitting the Broken Arrow but only getting a two. Priest keeps grabbing for the eye. Rusev works the chest kicks, Priest kicks his way back into the fight. Priest is able to hit Old School this time, pulling the straps down and trying for South of Heaven. Rusev elbows Priest in the eye, hits the Matcha Kick and pins to advance to the next round.

Rusev pins Damian Priest to advance to the second round of The Last Time is Now Tournament. A decent match. It never really hooked me in. Good to see you, Priest.

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce is talking to WWE World Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. They ask for a tag title challenger, Pearce asks for a team name. They promise to keep working on it. Maxxine Dupri walks up and says the training is going well but she’s not ready but it is time. He sets up Lynch vs Dupri for next week at MSG. As he walks off, WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch chops her in the throat. “You don’t stand a chance.” I think we have pretty good odds of AJ Lee reappearing next week.

Joe plugs the new LJN-style figures including Cena, Hogan, Dusty Rhodes and Logan Paul.

“Cult of Personality” plays and the fans sing as WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk joins us. He’s not here for a match, he’s here for a fight and calls out Logan Paul. “I didn’t know how big of a piece of garbage Logan Paul is.” Punk, we all knew. The evidence has been widely seen. Logan Paul joins us to retort. He says being punched in the face by Mayweather was nothing compared to being Tsunamied by Bronson Reed last week. Paul’s doing a lot of talking and Punk is trying to move things along but Paul continues yapping. Paul says his eyes have been opened to a brand new vision as Paul Heyman joins him on the stage followed by Big Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. Heyman calls Punk the most unlikable human being he’s seen in his life as he walks right behind Logan Paul. Punk notes that his wife could leave all four of them in a pool of their own piss and blood, but she isn’t so she’ll fight all five of them (he says Heyman counts as two).

The fans chant yeet as Main Event Jey Uso pops from the crowd to stand alongside Punk. The fans call for OTC and we get Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes instead, the fans happy to sing to “Kingdom.” We have a six-man brawl all around the ringside area. The good guys isolate Bronson as the fans sing for Cody. The heels back down the ramp for now.

Let us take a look back at SmackDown as Lash Legend appears to help Nia Jax defeat Charlotte Flair. I’m glad to see Lash on SmackDown. After that, Doctor Asuka mists Alexa and Charlotte.

WWE Women’s World Title: WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer (with WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella) vs Raquel Rodriguez (with Roxanne Perez)

The great Alicia Taylor gives us the championship introductions. Back and forth action early, Stephanie goes for the Devil’s Kiss but Raquel muscles her up on her shoulders and drops her right onto the turnbuckle before taking her head off with a clothesline.

After a break, Stephanie is trying to fight out of a hold. She does and crossbodies Raquel. Vaquer gets a two after a Meteora, then Raquel powers out of the SVB. Raquel powers Vaquer into a suplex and lands a big boot but again Stephanie kicks out. Steph hits another Meteora and Raquel catches her knees, powerbombing Vaquer for a two. Perez tries to interfere, Bella cuts that out. Rodriguez hits a fallaway slam but Stephanie ducks under a top rope dive, rolling into the Devil’s Kiss. Vaquer hits the corkscrew moonsault for the pin. Rox attacks, Nikki comes for the save. Nikki offers a hug and then smacks Stephanie with the title. Yeah, we all saw it coming. Nikki poses over Vaquer. It does get quite the reception from the crowd though, so there is that.

Stephanie Vaquer pins Raquel Rodriguez to retain the WWE Women’s World Title. Raquel continues to be the most improved wrestler on the WWE roster in 2025. A good match. The post-match attack was what it was, at least the fans were into it. I’m not particularly excited for it but I’m sure it’ll be fine.

CM Punk, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso are talking with Adam Pearce backstage. Punk says he is pissed and he wants Pearce to find Heyman, telling Pearce that he has himself a team. Punk yells “REGAL!” and William Regal appears, barking out “WAR GAMES” as Pearce tells them to prepare for war.

The Last Time is Now Tournament First Round Match: Shinsuke Nakamura vs Sheamus

Sheamus has a well-known history with Cena, Nakamura has pinned Cena in a singles match on SmackDown. Wade reminds us that there is one title Sheamus has never won and now Cena holds it. Sheamus catches Shinsuke outside and slams him on the apron – the hardest spot on the ring! – to send us to a break.

Nakamura works over Sheamus, taunting him with kicks. Sheamus is into that kind of thing. They trade blows and Nakamura runs into a knee. Sheamus gives Shinsuke the ten beats before heavily signaling for the Brogue, something that never ever works for him and you think he’d learn to stop doing. Nakamura calls for the Slingblade and misses, leaping off the top into a knee. Sheamus tries for the White Noise from the top rope, Nakamura slides under for a powerbomb and gets a two count. Sheamus pulls out the Brogue Kick for the three. Sheamus embraces Nakamura afterwards, Nakamura raises his arm.

Sheamus pins Shinsuke Nakamura to advance to the second round of The Last Time is Now tournament. Started slow but they hooked me in the last two minutes.

WWE Fact of the Night: By winning the Intercontinental Championship, John Cena has now held every major singles title in WWE! How disrespectful to the Speed Title.

Adam Pearce has grabbed more balls. Next week in the tournament, NXT’s Je’Von Evans faces Gunther. That’s going to be something. In the second match, Solo Sikoa faces a name Pearce won’t tell us. Very unfair to Solo to not be able to prepare for his opponent. We’re reminded that next week will be John Cena’s last Raw as he joins us in Madison Square Garden. We’ll also have Becky Lynch defending her Intercontinental Title against Maxxine Dupri.

WWE 2K25 Netflix Edition is coming to mobile. Sure, I’ll try it. Why not? If it comes with Netflix, might as well.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles: WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair vs The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane)

Quick tags start, Asuka and Charlotte battle in the corner. “Woos” can be heard pretty much constantly in the crowd as they battle. Kairi tags in and drops a flying forearm on Flair for a one count. Kairi takes a big boot to the outside. Alexa tags in and Charlotte whips her outside to Asuka, who distracts her long enough for Kairi to attack and send us to another commercial.

Bliss hits a double DDT when we return, getting the hot tag to Charlotte. Charlotte takes down both women with a crossbody from the top then offers chops to both women. The crowd is very into Charlotte. Charlotte drops a moonsault on both women but Asuka kicks out of the pinfall attempt. Charlotte and Asuka trade blows and Asuka overpowers. Asuka catches an Asuka Lock onto Charlotte who roles into a pin attempt. Alexa is pulled out of tag reach by Kairi so Asuka continues working over Charlotte with an armbar. Flair hooks a Liontamer, Asuka fights out. Asuka runs right into a boot and Charlotte hooks the Figure-Eight, Kairi trying to jump into a save but jumping into Alexa’s Sister Abigail instead. Nia Jax and Lash Legend appear to break things up but the ref doesn’t see it. Bliss is tossed into the announce table, the Warriors double team Charlotte. Kairi drops the elbow on Charlotte and gets the pin. For the second time tonight, we have a title change.

Kairi Sane pins Charlotte Flair, Kairi & Asuka defeat Charlotte & Alexa Bliss to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. As always, the women’s tag division delivers. A good match and a bit of a surprising result.

Bliss tries to attack Jax after but doesn’t do so well against the two much larger women. After taking care of Bliss and Charlotte, Lash & Nia stand tall against the Warriors before they both attack. This brings out Iyo Sky for the save and it sure feels like WarGames season. Iyo springs onto the Warriors but the double team takes her down too. Guess who is next? Rhea Ripley gets her usual enormous pop and has returned to us for the save, wearing another stylish face mask. Nia is struggling HARD with her top. Kairi is left alone and Rhea Razor’s Edges her onto the others outside. Rhea grabs a mic and yells “WAR GAMES.” Our women’s field is set.

I’m usually one on Team Nia, but she was struggling tonight. I think it might’ve been her top though and maybe she wasn’t prepared to run in and fight? Either way, we have WarGames. It’s an all-star team on the face side. We’ll see if they can build up the heel side to feel like more of a fight in just a few weeks.

A hit and miss show for me personally this week. It started at its best and I’d recommend the entire Cena segment and match with Dom. Both women’s matches delivered. Both tournament matches mostly felt just there, though both next week are a bit more exciting. We’re in WarGames season and we are building up QUICKLY.
