Morning Daily News Update

By Conor Renshaw on 4 November 2025

Morning, all!

We got through another Monday, and now it’s time for your Tuesday Morning Daily News Update!

Let’s take a look at all the shiny new things on the blog from yesterday. First up, we’ve got Rock Star Gary’s latest WCWA review from June 25, 1988, Alex Podgorski has a new (Almost) 5-Star Match Review for AJ Styles vs. Abyss at TNA Lockdown 2005, Jabroniville has a new Joshi Spotlight for GAEA in Japan for April 2001, Megabucks has a new Tooned In post, LScisco has a new WTWWW for WWF Superstars on July 9, 1994, and finally Kat has the Raw review for last night’s show!

WWE Raw title matches announced for next week

Speaking of Raw, two title matches have been confirmed for next week’s episode as Stepanine Vaquer will defend her Women’s World Title against Raquel Rodriguez, and Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss will put their Women’s Tag Team Championship up against Asuka and Kairi Sane. Plus two first-round matches for John Cena’s “The Last Time is Now” Tournament will take place.

Cody Rhodes To Retire When His Next WWE Contract Ends

Cody Rhodes has said that he plans to retire from wrestling after his next WWE contract. Rhodes said in a podcast interview that he plans to end his career with WWE after his next contract. He signed his current contract when he joined the company in 2022, and it is unknown how long is left on it. Currently, the company seems to be signing top stars to five-year deals, so it would stand to reason that Rhodes’ current contract could end in 2027, and then another contract could see him with the company until 2032.

Bron Breakker And Bronson Reed Attack CM Punk And Logan Paul On WWE Raw

Last night’s episode of Raw kicked off with CM Punk addressing the crowd after winning the World Heavyweight Title at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Logan Paul then came to the ring and demanded a title shot, which Punk refused. Then, Paul Heyman brought out Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, and as Paul left the ring, Breakker shoved him to the ground, and then he and Reed got in the ring to attack Punk. Paul then ran back into the ring to try and save Punk, but was beaten down by Breakker and Reed.

Triple H Reveals Similarities Between Donald Trump And The Rock

Paul “Triple H” Levesque spoke about how Donald Trump became president, and in his explanation, he said that the U.S. President is very similar to The Rock in terms of their charisma and their connection to “the people”.
