Andrade Ready For ‘Work Calls’ Amid WWE Contract Situation

Speculation has been flying about Andrade potentially returning to WWE not long after being fired by the company for “numerous Wellness Policy violations”. Now, Andrade has posted on Twitter that he “always answers work calls” even when he is on vacation. After Andrade was pulled from AEW after making his return on Dynamite due to WWE issuing a cease and desist letter to AEW, a new rumour came out that WWE is trying to leverage Andrade’s non-compete clause to try and get him to come back to WWE. It was then reported that Andrade had “lawyered up” in preparation for a potential legal battle over his non-compete clause.

WWE Mystery Trailer Sparks Talk Of Gunther’s Comeback

A new trailer has been posted by WWE on Twitter featuring a 15-second clip of someone’s feet walking towards the camera. No other information was given, but fans are already speculating that the mystery person is Gunther, who hasn’t been seen in WWE since his SummerSlam loss to CM Punk.

A new match has been announced for tonight’s episode of Raw as GM Adam Pearce announced that Penta will face Rusev in a number one contender’s match for the Intercontinental Championship.

In more Raw news, PWInsider has reported that Santos Escobar will be backstage at Raw tonight. This comes after it was reported that Escobar’s contract had expired on October 7 and that he planned to leave the promotion. However, it was then reported on October 8 that he had signed a new deal to remain with the company.
