World title match official for AEW Full Gear
Mercedes Mone will get the chance to add a 13th title to her trophy cabinet, as it was officially confirmed on last night’s Dynamite that she will be challenging AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander for her title at Full Gear on November 22.
Swerve Strickland Could Return To AEW From Injury Very Soon
Swerve Strickland could be back in action on AEW TV very shortly, as a report has surfaced saying that his recovery from surgery to repair a torn meniscus is on track, and if all goes well, he could be eyeing up a “winter return”.
WWE Announces Date Change For Money In The Bank 2026
WWE had previously announced that, after WrestleMania 42’s location was changed from New Orleans to Las Vegas that The Big Easy would still get a 2026 pay-per-view, as Money in the Bank would come to the city on August 29. Now, WWE has issued a new statement that MITB will now be taking place on September 6, just a week after the original planned date. The reason for the date change has not been given at this time.
Athena Returns On AEW Dynamite
In a backstage segment with Mercedes Mone, who was still covered in cake after her 12 title celebration was interrupted, ROH Women’s Champion Athena appeared on screen and made Mone an offer to team up together to challenge for the AEW Women’s Tag Team Title. Mone briefly considered the idea, but ultimately chose to focus on the AEW Women’s World Title.
