Taz Undergoes Successful Shoulder Surgery

AEW announcer and ECW legend Taz has undergone successful shoulder surgery. Excalibur made the announcement on the broadcast of last night’s episode of Dynamite after Taz announced on October 8 that he would be having the surgery soon and that he would be off of AEW TV for some time while he recovers. Wishing Taz all the best with his recovery.

New WWE Evolve Champion Crowned On Special Succession Episode

A new WWE Evolve Women’s Champion was crowned on last night’s special episode titled “Succession”. Kendal Grey defeated Kali Armstrong to win the title, but she actually won the title on September 23 when the show was taped; however, WWE didn’t recognise the title change until the episode aired.

AEW WrestleDream card finalised with new segment, stipulation

AEW has finalised the card for the WrestleDream pay-per-view taking place this weekend on Saturday, October 18. A segment where Mercedes Mone will appear to celebrate passing Jade Cargill as the longest reigning TBS Champion was announced during a backstage promo on last night’s Dynamite. Also, the Hurt Syndicate vs. The Demand trios match got a tornado tag rules stipulation added to it on last night’s show.

Released Superstar Appears During WWE Evolve Succession Event

Recently released former WWE star Stevie Turner made an appearance during a backstage segment on last night’s episode of Evolve despite her and the company parting ways earlier this month. Turner was seen in the segment speaking on the phone about AAA, and then spoke to comedian Big Jahh as part of a Tubi crossover. Some fans have speculated that Turner could be used further despite her recent release, but the likelihood is that, because this episode was taped in September that it was taped before her release, and she will not appear in any more episodes beyond this point.
